Float Planes !

The Yellow plane is my Goldberg J-3 Cub. The Purple and White plane is a Sig Magnum C/L converted to ROW (rise off water).It is a joint effort by Nils Norling and myself. The Cub is R/C, powered by a MDS .61 with clipped wings and the floats were built from plans from RCM magazine 10 or 15 years ago by my cousin, Kevin Holland, from Joplin MO. Thanks Kevin! They work great! The Magnum is on 40 size floats of unknown make, powered by an old Fox Eagle .60 with a JR radio for throttle only and insulated control wires for elevator control. Nils will be flying the Magnum at the Control Line Regionals this year at Roseberg OR.
