Why host a personal web page?
The reasons are  as numerous as there are people doing them.

*      For me an underlying, if not the main reason, is a desire to share with others.
*      It also provides an opportunity to have contacts with people who have similar
         interests, a process difficult to accomplish in many local environments.
*      Another is that it allows us to be creative or express ourselves creatively.
*      Yet another is to satisfy the id or inner being, perhaps the exhibitionist in us,
        that  we can't express (god forbid) to our friends and family but have nothing
        to lose by presenting it to our cyber family.
*      Finally, some hope to gain financially (more power).

On the flip side of the coin, by doing a web page, we are exposing ourselves to critique on an national if not an international level which is a gutsy thing.

In any case and for whatever the reason there are a lot of people developing a lot of quality pages. Pages with information, humor and self expression and we salute them and have links to some.

As for myself, I am doing this strictly as a public service (tongue in cheek or as my Indian friends would express it, ayhh. Which translates - just kidding).

This web site has no underlying theme. It hosts those things which I like and or feel important. Enjoy
