Community Health

The Jefferson County Mental Health Program employs 15 people, including Consulting Psychiatrist.

The program is a county-provided service to provide diagnostic and counseling services to county residents for the prevention and treatment of mental and emotional problems, the abuse and dependence of alcohol and drugs, and case management services for those with developmental disabilities.

Services are provided to children, adolescents, and adults, and include screening for crisis intervention and pre-commitment investigation.

This office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
