The Jefferson County Fair is held in July and features livestock ready to be judged and petted, a great carnival, cooking and art competitions, professional entertainment and vendors of all kinds. Rodeo action heats up the arena on both Friday and Saturday, with a great Western dance Saturday night. The annual fair parade rolls through downtown Madras on Saturday.
