Madras Kiwanis is dedicated to serving the children and youth of our community.  We hold a variety of fund raising activities to support projects, and give countless hours of volunteer time in hands on work.  Some of the projects we support are:

•Operation Rudolph - A program to gather, clean, repair and wrap presents for needy families in our community.
•Soccer - Kiwanians organize, coach and fund an active soccer program.
•Basketball - For several years the Madras Kiwanis has organized a basketball league.

Magnet Calendar Sales: Madras Kiwanis sell small magnet calendars each year which display the days students are in and out of Jefferson County Schools.
Madras Kiwanis is proud to sponsor a Key Club at Madras High School which consists of 87 high school student members involved in serving the community needs.
•Scholarship - A scholarship is given to a graduating senior each year.

The Six Permanent Objects of  Kiwanis

•To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
•To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards.
•To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.
•To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.
•To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opioion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.
