Located on the North end of Lake Simtustus, which is formed by the Pelton Dam, Pelton Park offers camping, picnicking, and boating. Boat rentals, including platform boats, and a boat launch are available. This has been a popular campground for many years, and is not used as heavily as the Cove Palisades.

Lake Simtustus does have a speed limit South of the campground. However, you can water ski on the North end. This lake can offer excellent fishing, especially on the South end of the lake.
