Jefferson County does not have a ski resort within its
boundaries, there are two world class resorts within easy
driving distance of county residents. The first is Mt.
Hood where three unique areas are available for your
skiing pleasure. The second is Mt. Bachelor, located West of Bend, Oregon. This site is known for its great downhill and cross country runs, as well as amply opportunities to snow mobile over miles of groomed trails. Jefferson County is a mecca for cross-country and alpine skiers, ice skaters, snowmobilers, sledders and everyone who like playing in the snow. |
